How do I make a viewing with the hotel?
We recommend to prebook your wedding viewing, this can be arranged with our wedding coordinator by emailingweddings@killarneyheights.ie or by calling us on 064-6631158
What is your minimum number of wedding guests for the Mangerton Suite?
Our minimum number for the Mangerton Suite is 120 guests. For numbers before this, please discuss our Bespoke wedding packages with your wedding coordinator.
What is your maximum number of guests for the Mangerton Suite?
We allow a maximum number of guests of 340 in the Mangerton Suite.
Can I provisionally hold a wedding date?
Yes, we can provisionally hold a wedding date for up to two weeks. After the two weeks, if the wedding is not secured by a deposit. The provisional date is released back to the hotel.
How much is the deposit to secure your date?
The wedding deposit is €2,000 to secure your wedding date. We require a further €2,000 deposit 9 months prior to the wedding and €2,000 deposit 6 months prior to the wedding. 80% of the overall balance is due 7 days prior. The remaining balance is paid the day after the wedding.
Can you tailor your wedding packages?
Of course, our packages can be easily tailored to meet your own requirements on the day
Are your packages all inclusive wedding packages?
Yes, our wedding packages are all inclusive and based off per person and this way they are easy for the couples to budget.
Do you host more than one wedding a day?
No, we have a one wedding a day policy in the hotel and this way we can ensure you and your wedding guests have our full divided attention.
Do you have a licence to host civil ceremonies?
Yes, we host our civil ceremonies in our Mangerton Suite or for a more intimate ceremony we have the Mill Restaurant. Room hire applies to both rooms
Do you cater for special dietary requirements?
Yes, we cater for all special dietary requirements. Please do advise us of any known dietary requirements prior to your wedding day.
Does the hotel take care of any decorations for our wedding day?
Included in all our wedding packages, is a candelabra and a fresh floral arrangement on every second table.
Can we do a wedding tasting prior to our wedding day?
Yes, we offer a complimentary wedding menu and wine tasting for the happy couple. This can take place Sunday – Thursday from 6pm. We require your wedding tasting menu two weeks prior to the wedding tasting date.
Do you cater for smaller weddings?
Yes, we can cater for smaller intimate weddings. We have bespoke wedding packages for weddings under 120 guests. Please reach out to us directly and we can provide you with our Bespoke Wedding Packages.
Is the bar extension included?
We include the cost of the bar extension in your wedding package. All amplified music must finish at 2am. Our bar extension is until 4am. (For packages over 120 guests)
Do you have storage for items we need to bring in for our wedding day?
Yes, we can store all items and can be delivered two days prior to your wedding and collected the day after your wedding celebrations.
Do you offer any options for pre or post wedding parties?
Yes, we offer BBQ or Buffet options which can be tailored to your requirements.
Do you offer corkage on any of your packages?
We do on occasion offer corkage, however, this subject to delivering a minimum of 120 guests and hotel policy, in line with alcohol licensing laws only permits a specific allowance, this is 3 bottles of 70cl spirits and a maximum of 4 boxes of bottled beers.
